As a DevOps Engineer Ansible, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing automation solutions across our infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with development, IT operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes, improve deployment cycles, and ensure the scalability and security of our systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows using Ansible to manage infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and availability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and software deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to scalability, availability, and performance.
- Document systems and processes for ongoing operations and improvements.
- Participate in the implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and practices to improve the DevOps pipeline and workflow.
- Provide support for various cloud platforms and services, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Work in an agile development environment and contribute to sprint planning and project delivery.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a DevOps Engineer role with a strong focus on Ansible automation.
- Proficiency in Ansible, including playbooks, roles, and modules.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure management tools and practices (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
- Ability to work in an agile, collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Experience with microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with configuration management frameworks beyond Ansible (e.g., Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of database management, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with security practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps with a focus on Ansible.
