Reporting to the HSEQ Director and Operations Manager, the HSEQ Representative will play a vital role in supporting operations by implementing HSEQ programs to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements. Working closely with the HSEQ Manager, the incumbent will be instrumental in driving the company's safety objectives, targets, and the ultimate goal of achieving beyond zero incidents.Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document inspections and assessments
- Ensure that all work is carried out following HMT and customer requirements
- Assist operations in acquiring safety equipment and supplies
- Support accident/incident investigations and reporting
- Coordinate and facilitate Health & Safety training activities and safety meetings
- Conduct Accident/Near Miss Investigations and provide management with detailed reports
- Identify and report unsafe acts or behaviours
- Update and maintain current health and safety policies, procedures, and employee manuals specific to the Netherlands
- Conduct safety risk assessments and assist in completing Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Learn technical aspects of the company's products
- Conduct quality audits and create inspection and test plan documentation
- Periodic travel within the United Kingdom and occasional international travel may be required- Commute and work from the site between the Netherlands & BelgiumRequirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management or equivalent qualification with a focus on Middle Management Safety - IOSH / Nebosh certificate
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Eligibility to work in the EU
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HSEQ field
- Knowledgeable about safety standards, local laws, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and lead group discussions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Punctual, focused, and capable of meeting deadlines
- A self-driven and dedicated individual
- In a position of a driving licence
