- Lead and develop the team (approx 8 members) : coach and manage the team members, execute hiring plan, develop skills (STEP process), manage HR process (check in, talent review, professional development, training plan, performance reviews…).
- Manage and improve the Supply Chain improvement process and cycles across the whole SC organization : achieve deliverables (ex : SC Ambition Boost plan) in time.
- Bring your expertise in Lean and Digital to maintain the pace of a relevant and challenging transformation of the Naval SC.
- Personal involvement in some improvement projects on Lean (CLPF,…), digital operations (Digital continuity, Automation,…) and guarantee the deliverables of those projects.
- Be an active member of the SC Management Team, contributing to reinforce continuous improvement / learning culture.
- Be a direct contact to Thales Group Industry corporate team to connect Naval SC to relevant group initiatives and activate relevant support / sharing sessions.
- Proactively challenge and be sounding board/sparring partner for management on improvement/change management subjects.
- Master level (Technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management (eg. APICS-CPIM, CSCP), Industrial Engineering and Management;
- Factual knowledge and experience in the fields of Lean: VSM-based flow transformation, pull systems, Jidoka, problem solving.
- Factual knowledge and experience in the fields Digital Industry: Digital continuity, IoT, MES, process automation.
- Proven records in a High Mix / High Tech / Low volume Supply Chain environment;
- Ability to develop and stimulate people and team leadership skills;
- Pragmatic, proactive and customer-oriented work style;
- Flexible attitude to respond to changing situations and environments;
- Positive influence on relationships within and outside own unit/department;
- Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is definitely a plus.
- Supply chain management and managerial skills within an industrial environment.
- Production technologies and processes, logistics and supply chain management;
