- Organising, managing, and processing air freight shipments.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with current and potential internal clients, as well as liaising with overseas branches and partners regarding transportation.
- Communicating with customers regarding shipments, shortages, delays, and damages.
- Creating and communicating pricing structures and negotiating rates with customers for spontaneous shipments.
- Generating quotes and ensuring their follow-up.
- Handling invoicing for shipments and monitoring associated costs.
- Managing administrative tasks such as processing and forwarding documents and information to other departments, agents, and branches.
- Minimum MBO level of education with practical working and thinking skills.
- Previous experience as an (assistant) forwarder specialising in air freight.
- Strong communication and commercial abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and perseverance.
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Proficient in spoken and written English; Dutch proficiency is advantageous.
