Our client, a leading cheese production company, is looking for a Team Lead Technical Services to strengthen their maintenance department in Workum. Are you an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills? Do you know how to build and motivate a team, while keeping technical operations running smoothly? Then this role is for you.About the Role You will lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians and work preparers responsible for all maintenance activities on the production lines - from corrective and preventive maintenance to small modifications. You ensure 24/7 technical support, optimizing machine uptime. You'll also work closely with internal and external departments to ensure smooth, efficient production.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a multi-skilled maintenance team
- Organize and execute the annual maintenance plan
- Ensure compliance with QHSE regulations, inspections, and permits
- Drive improvements in maintenance processes and standardization
- Manage the department's maintenance budget
- Plan and prioritize maintenance work in close coordination with production and external partners
- Supervise day-to-day operations, shutdowns, and new project handovers
- Ensure proper reporting of maintenance KPIs, issues, and budget performance
- Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Act as change manager and lead toolbox meetings and team communications
- A completed higher education (HBO/WO), preferably in a technical field
- Proven experience in maintenance and technical team leadership
- Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies and asset management
- Skills in people management, planning, communication, and decision-making
- Understanding of business processes in a production environment
