This position serves as the second tier of technical support, collaborating with internal teams to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues affecting users. Responsibilities encompass technical support across various platforms, providing user training, system administration, and ensuring compliance with security regulations.Responsibilities include:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Maintain system performance and stability through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage the ticketing system, prioritizing and resolving incidents within SLAs.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems, applications, and tools.
  • Onboard and offboard staff members, managing access control within Active Directory.
  • Maintain key IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and security.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient and responsive IT support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes and knowledge base development.
Requirements
  • A strong background in providing on-site IT support at a 2nd line level.
  • Experience working within a standalone position.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft 365 and/or Azure environments, with relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Possess an advanced understanding of Windows Server and Workstation administration.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory and networking concepts, encompassing user management, security groups, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Excel in both written and verbal communication, effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Possess a proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional user support and service, prioritising user satisfaction.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, any additional European languages would be an advantageous.
