We are looking for the next Interior Engineer, that will play a key role in bringing world-class designs to life by translating creative concepts into high-precision technical solutions.FunctieAs an Interior Engineer, you will be involved throughout the process, ensuring manufacturability, compliance, and a seamless connection between engineering, production, and design.The Interior discipline within our client’s department is responsible for the complete interior scope of the superyachts—from stairs and ceilings to bespoke bars, lounges, and fixed furniture.Your role will involve:
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models for high-end yacht interiors
  • Ensure that all elements—from structural parts to luxury features—are engineered for production
  • Translate design intent into feasible, functional engineering solutions
  • Ensure all designs meet Class and Flag regulations, as well as project-specific standards
  • Guarantee the highest standards of quality, precision, and aesthetic finish
  • Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Engineering teams to align on solutions
  • Support production with clear documentation and on-site guidance when needed
Voorwaarden
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Architecture, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in shipbuilding or luxury interior projects
  • Proven experience in interior engineering, ideally within the marine, architectural, or high-end residential sectors
  • Strong knowledge of interior design principles, construction methods, and joinery techniques
  • Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling tools, preferably AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and Siemens NX
  • Solid understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and materials used in yacht interiors
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
