
Senior Mechanical Engineer

- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-8+ years experience, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment
- Team player
- Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, preferred Dutch
- Developing knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Experience in the design of the main Building Services Mechanical systems such as HVAC, public health, etc.
- Experience in science, industry and technology (SIT) projects
- Knowledge of Dutch codes, standards and permitting requirements
- Revit experience
- Lead the Mechanical Services design on SIT projects while working closely with the other discipline leads
- Work with and manage junior mechanical engineers and BIM modellers on your projects
- Project planning
- Conceptual design studies and reports
- Detailed design of Mechanical Services and Installations
- Compilation of Specifications for Mechanical Services and Installations
- Ensuring full co-ordination between specifications, drawings and BIM models
- Client presentations and engagement
- Liaising with architects, clients and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the mechanical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the mechanical requirements and the mechanical discipline’s influence on all others.
