  • Convert P&IDs into mechanical designs
  • Include placement of control cabinets and routing of hoses and piping.
  • Select and apply supplier data for standard components.
  • Collaborate with system designers and other engineering disciplines.
  • Coordinate with assembly and testing teams on installation and performance.
  • Create detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, production drawings, and parts lists.
  • Contribute to system improvements and component selection optimizations.
Voorwaarden
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical equipment design, preferably in the manufacturing or maritime sector.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic components such as valves, pumps, and cylinders.
  • Skilled in 2D/3D CAD software; experience with PDM and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Accurate and structured way of working.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team.
