Then this internship might be interesting for you!Background informationEmbedded Software Common & DUV Department delivers integrated embedded software solutions that support the business success of ASML. ASML has its own integration process to deliver changes towards the main line. Fixes are provided using various kinds of Patches which are not based on the main-line changes. ASML uses different DevOps strategies to address the needs of the customer. For debugging the issues in the field, its very important to determine the changes which were made as part of a release with minimal effort. The goal of the project is to design and integrate an automated back-tracking system which aids in quickly determining which changes were made as part of the release. The assignment will be performed in the group of Stage Positioning Measurement (SPM), which delivers software solutions for the stage control systems.Your assignmentProblem:With various DevOps strategies, one needs to spend a lot of time to determine what changes were delivered in a releaseSolution:Create a Github Action/Jenkins Pipeline which can leverage ASML review system and pull request content to centralize at one place. (Good to have a dashboard)Design a simple user-interface which can be handy to backtrack changes, using API(s) and Jenkins pipeline.Integrate to existing JIRA dashboards.Improve the current DevOps system where applicableAssignment:
Familiarize with ASML way of delivering code , determine and devise an efficient back tracking process to track the changes made in the releases, Improve the DevOps system where applicable.NOTE : Intern should get VDI access as its a part of an assignment , it will be used during automation.Your ProfileTo be a perfect match for this internship, you:Are a Bachelor or Master student in computer science or a related study.Have a good understanding of Jenkins (CI/CD), Github actions and Automation.Are familiar with Python Scripting, JIRA and API.Are enthusiastic and have the ability to work independently.Have great communication skills and are fluent in English both verbally and in writing.​This is a Bachelor or Master internship with a duration of a minimum of 6 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting as soon as possible.Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of the internship.This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work.
