Total Rewards ManagementGeneral Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefit Consultant to join the Total Rewards Communities of Practice (COE) team. The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee benefit programs in the EMEA region. This role requires a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and strategic planning to ensure our benefits offerings are competitive and aligned with our organizational goals.This role reports into the Total Rewards Lead in EMEA and works in strong partnership with other teams in the business. The incumbent should have experience in working with global teams and a matrix organization.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Benefits
- Design and implement comprehensive employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave of absence programs, wellness programs, and other employee perks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage reporting and documentation related to benefits. Stay updated on changes in benefits regulations within the EMEA region.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance and Payroll teams to stay aligned with the requirements of the business.
- Provide expert advice for complex cases which may require determination outside of policies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our benefits offerings.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and informational materials to help and educate the HR teams about benefits programs.
- Manage relationships with external benefit providers and support the procurement team to secure the best terms for the company.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on the effectiveness and utilization of benefit programs
- Analyze, evaluate and create side-by-side comparisons of existing benefits programs at acquired companies in order to integrate employees into the Qualcomm benefits landscape
- Conduct ad-hoc salary analyses and compensation studies to maintain internal and external parity within employees including new hires and internal transfers, and share the findings with the leadership
- Support the execution of Annual review cycle including salary increases, bonuses, and RSU awards
- Partner with Global Compensation Community of Practice on the recommendation of any compensation philosophy and program changes
- Support in policy and process execution, and communication
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years in Compensation & Benefits or related work experience
- Language - Dutch and English is mandatory (excellent verbal and written capability)
- Masters/Post Graduate degree or equivalent in Compensation & Benefits 3-5 years
- Experience in utilizing Workday/Global ERP at operational level and benefits management software (especially Darwin).
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and international benefits regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in compensation and benefits methodologies from leading survey providers such as Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson (WTW), Aon
- Understanding of global/regional/country specific labor regulatory environments and collective bargaining agreements
- Certification in compensation and benefits programs is preferable
- Familiar with handling multiple country compensation and benefits requirements (e.g. France, Netherlands, Finland, Spain, Sweden).
- Experience on due diligence as part of Merger & Acquisition activities
