- Coordinate the end-to-end ocean freight import process, from shipment planning to final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs clearance and documentation.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners.
- Track and monitor shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
- Optimise import processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement and warehouse operations, to align shipping schedules with business needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, shipping rates, and regulatory changes.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of logistical processes related to road and ocean transport;
- The ability to obtain a VGB - 8+ years in the EU;
