- Design and Implement test automation frameworks.
- Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing software products.
- Identify, share, and nurture the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, testability, and maintainability in collaboration with the wider Quality department.
- Setting up the infrastructure to run tests: running tests in CI/CD; running tests in parallel running tests with the appropriate test data.
- Submit, track, and escalate, if needed, any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved.
- Willingness and ability to mentor/train other engineers as required.
- Collaborate with a product and development team to contribute to planning and design, reviewing product code, formulating test scenarios.
- Work closely with engineers to establish and execute strategies for integrating testing at earlier stages of the software development cycle following Test pyramid approach.
- Interface with other members of Product and R&D departments to effectively communicate and resolve all reported issues in a timely manner before the product is released.
- Participation in the support of continuous integration, continuous deployment and automation testing strategies.
- Understand and be aware of code changes that may impact test coverage and execution.
- Understand the core principles behind a software solution architecture, and initiate process improvement initiatives.
- Education: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Javascript or other coding languages.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Understanding of cloud architecture concepts - AWS/Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure/AWS DevOps, GitHub, TeamCity, SonarQube, Artifactory, GitHub actions, Terraform, etc.)
- Experience with performance testing is also very crucial.
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, security testing and testing tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and drive; self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented; creative and analytical.
- Salary commensurate with your skills and experience with a bonus plan.
- Permanent contract with a probation period of 2 months.
