This transaction has resulted in the newly combined business reach, with more than 20,000 employees globally from 1 January 2025.In bringing together Turner & Townsend and CBRE Project Management, our ambition is to create a global programme management company that is unmatched in terms of scale and expertise.Since January, we have worked through several Day One legal transitions, either asset or stock sale transfers. In total for Europe, we are integrating ca. 800 people across 26 countries (12 being entirely new in our portfolio). The complete integration (Day Two) is scheduled to happen in 2026, and impact ca. 2,500 people across these 26 countries.As we work towards the combination of our two businesses, we are putting our people and clients first through the experience we create for them.Job DescriptionAs Europe Change Lead, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of significant business change across the region, ensuring a smooth transition and minimising disruption to business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of change management methodologies, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.You will work closely with the Global Change and Communications team and directly with our Regional Managing Director, Europe, our Europe Integration team and key regional stakeholders (eg. Finance, People, Digital & Technology) as well as local country stakeholders.Given the regional scope, this role can be based in one of our offices located in Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Madrid or Dublin.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Change Strategy: Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement change management plans aligned with project and organisational goals. This includes impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and tailored communication and training plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, understand the employee journey and change impacts, and address concerns and resistance through targeted strategies.
- Communication & Training: Create clear, engaging materials - such as briefings, newsletters, and presentations. Establish a change agent network and deliver training to support local adoption and readiness.
- Resistance Management: Proactively identify resistance and implement mitigation strategies, including manager briefings and additional communications.
- Measurement & Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of change initiatives through structured tracking and stakeholder updates.
- Risk Management: Assess risks related to change initiatives and develop mitigation plans to minimise impact.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and enhance change processes, staying informed of best practices and emerging trends.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with project teams and business leaders to ensure successful implementation, and support project managers in planning and executing change activities.
- Previous experience of working on M&A change activity is essential, preferably in Europe.
- Proven experience in a change management role, ideally within a professional firm/ consultancy environment.
- High levels of discretion, collaboration and ability to navigate complexity.
- Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Prosci, ADKAR).
- Excellent communication, creativity, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing communication plans.
- Relevant change management certification (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) is highly desirable.
- Resilient and adaptable, able to work effectively despite ambiguity, in an environment where priorities and goal posts can often change.
