- No candidates older than 28 years will be considered for this position.
- Ideally, candidates will have some understanding of the Dutch language, however fluent Afrikaans is also acceptable along with the willingness to learn some basic Dutch (lessons will be provided).
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Qualification in mechanical engineering with specialisation in refrigeration systems or similar.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience working in a role as team leader within the refrigeration service industry.
- Ideally a VCA VOL certification, or related health, safety, and environmental management certification.
- Regrettably, HVAC specialists are not suitable for this position, unless experience is combined with equal focus on industrial refrigeration within the food processing industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- As a Support Engineer you are the daily point of contact (at the Service Branch or the Competence Center) for our our customer when it comes to servicing equipment and installations. You perform preparatory work related to (service) maintenance and you offer technical support to our Field Service Engineers and colleagues in the office.
- Preparing, verifying (cost price) calculations, monitoring margins, processing and settling quotations, identifying and offering parts.
- Preparation of order confirmation, inventory of work by following up on work and visit reports, ordering materials and coordinating with resource planner.
- Preparation of site specific safety plans.
- Coordination with (sub)suppliers and repair plans.
- Drawing up of annual plans (maintenance contracts) and Technical follow-up of (service) work.
- Organizing and handling spare parts and the maintaining the spare parts list.
- Ordering and following up technical tickets regarding related to spare parts.
- Entering and updating installed base data, recording recording reports, warranty claims and complaints, ensuring follow-up and internal evaluation.
- Checking, coordinating and processing technical data related to completed maintenance projects.
- Participating in the National Breakdown Service Coordination team LSC.
