
Senior Sales Manager

- Proactively engage with customers and internal/ external stakeholders to grow regional sales in line with budgets/ set targets.
- Support and develop sales through systematic customer contact scheduling, ensuring proactive calling occurs at the most impactful moments in time.
- Propose and sell new solutions, upgrades to customers and ensure that the value is understood, explained and products and services are sold and delivered to the customer.
- Support and communicate at a local level, the vision and purpose of the Benelux sales team.
- Proactively plan sales for assigned customers to maximise our share of wallet Ensure leads are addressed and captured.
- Provide sales forecast for preparation of MIS, rolling forecast etc.,
- Proactively share gained market insights and customer knowledge internally to develop regional customer understanding
- Apply a systematic approach to all activities, follow-up performance and support the development of people to build high performing teams.
- Manage stakeholders by building a good network (both internally and externally) of relationships with customers, influencers, and decision makers.
- Leverage growth through enforced use of CRM, to allow the business to learn more about the customers' business context to develop insights, focus and priorities for the team.
- Plan and achieve NPS Score - Timely feedback from customers and addressing customer's concern for improvement.
- Develop Account Business Plans and follow-up.
- Ensure all customer related information & opportunities are recorded in CRM and maintain accurate customer records among assigned customer accounts.
- Ensure a well-working feedback loop with local Field Services & Workshops (FS&WS) to maximize the number of leads and optimize the collaboration.
- Generate customer intelligence and explore new business opportunities.
- Build value propositions for sales opportunities as required to develop markets.
- Bachelor degree in engineering/ business studies and/or proven work experience.
- 7+ years of professional (sales) work experience in a marine business environment
- Demonstrate developing commercial capabilities with a good track record of consultative sales.
- Good knowledge of the regional market sectors and its drivers.
- Customer focused with service minded attitude along with sound commercial understanding
- Performance and result orientated.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience, demonstrating ability to lead geographically dispersed teams
- Proficient in the use of CRM and ability to create targets and sales activity plans.
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English & Dutch .
- Can demonstrate Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to showcase sound logic and reasoning for meeting customer's needs
- Can collaborate internally and align approach with supporting functions
- Are extremely well organised and methodical.
