With millions of smart devices connected to the Tibber platform (like electric vehicles and smart thermostats), we have one of the most unique portfolios trading energy on the market.Job Mission 🚀🚀We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) to support our procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing processes, vendor management, and inventory control. You will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, analytical abilities, and a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities and streamlining procurement processes.Purchasing: Coordinate and execute purchasing activities to fulfill the company's procurement needs, including sourcing, selecting vendors, and placing purchase orders.Market research: Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors, assess product quality, negotiate pricing, and terms of agreements to achieve cost savings and ensure supplier reliability.Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing vendor performance, resolving issues, and monitoring compliance with contractual agreements.Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including inventory planners, warehouse personnel, and finance teams, to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with inventory management goals and budgetary constraints.Analysis: Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and sales data to determine optimal purchasing quantities, reorder points, and lead times to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.Tech-savvy: Utilize procurement software systems and tools to track purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and generate reports to provide insights into purchasing trends, cost variances, and supplier performance metrics.Process management: Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline purchasing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at driving process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and enhancing overall operational efficiency within the supply chain.Trends: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.Support: Provide support and assistance to the operations team as needed, including inventory reconciliation, order fulfillment, and other operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.⚡⚡️Ideal ProfileBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, additional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.Proven experience (3+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, with a focus on buying and vendor management.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings, negotiate favorable terms, and build collaborative relationships with suppliers.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Proficiency in procurement software systems (e.g., ERP, eProcurement platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Knowledge of inventory management principles, supply chain logistics, and operational processes is preferred.Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity in all business dealings.🦹🏽‍♀️👨‍🎤Get Ready ForInnovation.
