
Teamlead Billing & Disputes

- Lead, coach, and support the Billing & Disputes team to deliver on operational KPI's and SLA's.
- Plan and allocate daily workload to ensure timely completion of tasks and smooth operations.
- Monitor performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular team check-ins to maintain engagement and accountability.
- Train the Bonus Controlling team on billing and disputes processes. Facilitate knowledge transfer from the Billing & Disputes team to Bonus Controlling to ensure end-to-end understanding of processes. Identify skill gaps and organize targeted training sessions to uplift team capabilities.
- Review existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and error reduction. Create and maintain detailed process documentation and SOP's. Implement best practices to strengthen compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, Category Managers, and other internal stakeholders. Act as escalation point for complex disputes and ensure timely, constructive resolution. Collaborate cross-functionally to prevent recurring disputes through proactive communication and improved processes.
- Oversee preparation and delivery of regular operational reports on PO's, invoicing status, and disputes. Provide senior management with actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes. Track team performance metrics and operational trends to inform decision-making.
- Operational Responsibilities (Hands-on as needed): support in high-priority invoicing, PO collections, and dispute resolution activities during peak workload or escalations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all operational deliverables.
- Proven experience in a team leadership role within finance, billing, disputes, or collections, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, PO management, collections, and dispute resolution processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.
- Focused on achieving operational KPIs and improving performance.
- Capable of guiding teams through change and fostering a positive, inclusive, accountable culture, leading by example.
