Location: Remote, NLThe NL Sales role works closely with Hospitals/Hospital Groups, HealthCare Professionals and procurement/reimbursement systems across the Netherlands to drive the adoption and use of our diabetes products and services.
As we are embarking on a brand transition phase which moves us from Client-branded products to client-branded products (goes live in Oct 2025), this role will be critical to ensure there is no loss of revenue during this period.
The position is remote-based and an exciting opportunity to join our journey!Key Activities
- Sell the client Value Proposition into relevant stakeholders to win and defend our Share of Category (SoC) - This will be both directly in face-face interactions and indirect through MS Teams and executing on Marketing initiatives
- Maintain and build great customer relationships across a multitude of small-medium sized customers and their decision makers/influencers (e.g. Diabetes nurses, Hospital Purchasers) and a range of HCPs across all relevant organisations
- Create and drive Account Plans forward to enable key customer strategies, including optimised product positioning as 1st line / preferred brand
- Deliver Account Plan objectives and identify short- and long-term growth opportunities in both the safety and conventional pen needle market
- Conduct regional account analysis to identify and share business opportunities
- Take responsibility for actions in our NL Go to Market Plan
- Identify new business (wins) and renewal business (defend) opportunities within the region including utilising available data (Power BI; etc.) to enable highly effective planning and targeting of business opportunities
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with the internal team (Key Account Manager; Marketing, Analytics) in an effort to address customer and market requirements through strategic business planning and sales execution
- Organise and manage customer meetings/training sessions when required
- Be the product subject matter specialist - bringing other functions and businesses in when needed
- Optimise access to our product (and other products where agreed) by anticipating and eliminating institutional and non-clinical barriers, and by seeking and converting opportunities that address both Health System and people living with diabetes needs while improving product positioning and uptake.
- Co-create with Marketing relevant educational material (and other marketing materials e.g. customer mailings, and change notifications)
- Have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Company products, policies and objectives
- Represent client at events
- Develop, maintain and share understanding of regional and national healthcare trends in the diabetes space
- Perform required administrative tasks so that CRM is always up-to-date and all pricing requests and/or business cases are correctly implemented and executed until completion
- Highly experienced with the Dutch/NL healthcare system with an excellent understanding of maximizing our brands potential to be visible and prescribed
- Experience of commercial selling into the NL, ideally in the medical device space and/or appropriate clinical experience in the field of diabetes
- Professional experience in the NL Diabetes Healthcare system-reimbursement system-market access experience or related therapeutic area
- Existing relationships and/or easy access to the diabetes stakeholders (DN, purchasers, etc.)
- Ability to forward plan and prioritise
- Ability to work independently and demonstrates the ability to quickly assess and resolve issues, while translating complex information into simple language
- Problem-solving, self-starter with demonstrated ability to prioritise account management -
