Broadcast piracy is a persistent issue, threatening revenue and intellectual property. This internship project involves analyzing large-scale subscriber datasets and developing machine learning models to detect suspicious patterns indicating potential piracy activity.Your main responsibilities:Prepare and merge datasets from multiple sources for analysisConduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and candidate featuresDevelop and evaluate machine learning models for anomaly detectionDocument your work to ensure reproducibility and knowledge transferWhat you will learn:Applying machine learning algorithms to large-scale real-world datasets to solve an industrial problemCollaborating with teams in data science, security, and engineeringThesis supervision support (if applicable)What we expect you will bring:You are currently studying in the Netherlands, in the field of (computer) science and technologyInterest and experience in data analytics, data science, or machine learningProgramming skills in Python; experience with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch is a plus.Proficient verbal and written English communication skillsWhat you can expect from us:Our people and culture are the heart of our business, and our values of Trust, Accountability, Agility, and Innovation inform what we do, and how we work.
