For further information about Volac Wilmar Feed Ingredients visit our website www.volacwilmar.comIn this role you will be a key player in the VWFI supply chain, ensuring execution is done in the most efficient and economical way possible whilst upholding reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will also focus on improvements in both systems and business processes. This role supports the European Supply Chain Manager (ESCM) and the commercial team and is a sparring partner with the other Supply Chain Executives and ESCM.Main responsibilities:
  • Maintain supply and demand planning with support from various Business Managers (BM) on demand and give advice on required supplies to be ordered in consultation with the ESCM
  • Process supplier and customer agreements in the ERP system
  • Arrange packing instructions and/or shipping instructions for suppliers
  • Keep external and internal stakeholders informed regarding inbound/outbound material
  • Check shipment documents and process purchase orders in ERP incl. control plan input for quality and commercial invoices
  • Prepare insurance for shipments when required
  • Arrange for receipt of inbound material into the warehouse or directly to customers, via service providers, on physical as well as admin level
  • Process customer orders, from customer order creation until invoicing and inform service providers involved to ensure a timely and correct loading/delivery
  • Request and negotiate rates with regards to logistic services, such as transport, warehousing, and repacking
  • Propose SLA’s with external logistic service providers in consultation with ESCM
  • Review performance of the logistics service providers on regular basis
  • Set up, manage & report KPI’s in consultation with the team and/or ESCM
  • Work together with Business Systems department on set up/change/improvement processes
We are looking for a candidate with:
  • HBO/MBO level through experience and/or education
  • Experience working with companies engaged in export-import and trading activities
  • Experience working with companies with a production environment
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch, German is an advantage
  • Good skills in ERP software (IFS is an advantage)
  • Good skills in and knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of International Trade Practices
  • Knowledge of import and export documentation and procedures
  • Knowledge of Customs and regulations
  • Possess eye for details & with sense of urgency
  • No 9 to 5 mentality
