We are now looking for an Senior Investor Relations Manager to join our team in Amsterdam.Let's paint a picture of the roleAs Senior Manager, you will support the Head of Investor Relations in positioning AkzoNobel's equity and debt profile clearly to the market. You will act as a leading Group spokesperson for investors and analysts, managing roadshows, messaging, and the annual investor relations program.Responsibilities
  • Lead Group roadshows, building strong and credible relationships with the global investment community
  • Structure and manage investor messaging in close cooperation with Group Communications and ExCo
  • Oversee the quarterly results process for IR, including presentations, Q&A preparation, and scripts
  • Manage AkzoNobel's annual investor relations program, from Capital Markets Days to global conferences
  • Support Treasury in interactions with Rating Agencies and Debt IR
You will work closely with ExCo, Corporate Communications, Finance, Treasury, Legal, and business units, providing strategic insights and market feedback that shape leadership decisions.What you bring?
  • 8+ years' experience in Finance or Strategy roles
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with superior PowerPoint, Excel, and Word proficiency
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Assertiveness, gravitas, and confidence engaging with top management and key external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of financial market operations and regulations is an advantage
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, proactive self-starter
