We supercharge our customers to innovate in hyperscaler cloud, enabling seamless migration, advanced security, and data-driven success.Currently, we are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect for our team in the Netherlands.Your daily responsibilities:
  • Driving client projects with cloud infrastructure, cloud migrations, or data- and AI-related services
  • Advising on infrastructure design and configuration management
  • Giving workshops and engaging customer projects from inception to release
  • Becoming a trusted advisor for high-profile enterprises
  • Managing the client relationship and the roadmap with Nordcloud's sales team
  • Occasional travelling in the Netherlands or Europe may be an option, depending on the assignment and your preferences
Your key skills:
  • Experience with Cloud Architecture Design and Patterns including (Enterprise Scale) landing zones for development
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience of the Azure platform
  • Experience in leading delivery engagements for enterprise clients and large organizations
  • Solid engineering and technical background with experience in conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting cloud solutions
  • Knowledge of security, network, virtualization, load balancing, storage, and databases
  • Hands-on experience with building Infrastructure-as-Code (such as Terraform or Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Container technologies experience (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Coding/scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Knowledge and experience around DevOps/DevSecOps and/or Platform Engineering
  • Fluent communication skills in English
What sets you apart (we'd consider any of these as a big plus):
  • Experience in backend programming with languages like C#, Java, Go, or similar
  • Experience leading teams of Cloud Engineers and Architects
  • Experience with Google Cloud and/or AWS
  • Passion for sharing your knowledge and mentoring others
  • Experience in consultancy and a pre-sales attitude
  • Communication skills in Dutch
