- Enabling and developing a growing team of HR Business Partners in EMEA
- Being the key sparring partner for the EMEA Leadership team on things related to people management and strategy
- Driving a culture of using people data to inform and validate decision making
- Collaborating with a global, cross-functional team of subject-matter experts in HR (recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, HR technology, and operations) to ensure we retain and grow our top talents
- Acting as an ambassador for the Adyen Formula, guiding leaders to apply our core values in their day-to-day decisions
- Making things simpler rather than more complicated
- You have at least 7 years of experience working with managers and leaders at all levels, in a people partnering role at a fast-paced company
- You have 5+ years of leadership experience and foster an environment of autonomy and accountability
- You have the ability and experience to develop world-class HR Business Partners
- You can connect the dots with speed and spot opportunities looking forward
- You have a strong sense of self, build trust quickly, and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo with leaders
- You understand organizational dynamics, know what healthy, motivated, and growing teams look like, and can give guidance on what to do to make them even better
- You have the ability to analyze data on the bigger picture of the organization and act on the outcomes
- You're well versed in international labor law, and know how to get answers for the things you don't know
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pull relevant details out of complex situations to make sound decisions - and you know when to ask for help
- You understand the benefits of building a diverse and inclusive workforce on a global scale
- You have strong business acumen
