We are seeking a seasoned International Sales Leader to spearhead the business development of our client's OEM division across global markets. This executive-level position presents an opportunity to accelerate revenue growth, oversee critical international partnerships, and manage a geographically diverse team of sales specialists throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.Our client operates as an established global enterprise focused on hydraulic solutions and components for OEM partners within automotive, industrial, and off-road applications. Operating across six continents with 11 manufacturing facilities, this position offers tremendous opportunity for a commercial executive to influence worldwide expansion initiatives.Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Drive accountability, deliver coaching, and cultivate an environment of collaboration and achievement focus
  • Manage and mentor a successful team of regional sales leaders across various territories
  • Establish standardised sales methodologies, resources, and performance metrics across all regions
  • Partner with local general managers to create effective organisational frameworks
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
  • Formulate and implement worldwide sales strategies in alignment with division goals and industry developments
  • Discover and develop new OEM partnerships and market prospects across global territories
  • Oversee strategic relationship management for key international clients, securing sustained partnerships and business stability
  • Create and refine pricing approaches and commercial structures to enhance profitability
Market Intelligence & Growth
  • Track industry developments, client requirements, and competitive environment to guide strategic choices
  • Assist with complex proposal responses and spearhead negotiations for significant project wins
  • Deliver market intelligence to inform product development and positioning approaches
  • Promote sustainable, profitable expansion in line with operational capacity
Commercial Operations & Planning
  • Develop and oversee annual sales budgets and ongoing projections with regional teams
  • Track performance versus objectives and execute remedial measures when necessary
  • Facilitate cross-departmental partnership with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Finance divisions
  • Maintain uniform global pricing and commercial conditions across all territories to preserve competitive advantage

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 10 years of validated experience in international OEM sales, ideally within automotive, hydraulic, off-road, or industrial environments
  • Background with technical products (hydraulic assemblies, components, systems) and value-enhancement services
  • Prior experience in a global commercial executive position with P&L accountability
Essential Requirements
  • Strong technical capability with ability to interpret engineering documentation, tolerances, and technical specifications
  • Proficient English (written and spoken) - additional European languages beneficial
  • EU employment authorization or qualification to secure work permits in relevant countries
  • Readiness to travel internationally up to 30%

Compensation
  • Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary
  • Base Salary: €100,000 per annum
  • Total Target Compensation: €120,000 per annum
