- Analyze the effect of tax regulations, laws and accounting alternatives to ensure correct application and reporting of new or existing tax regulations;
- Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations, as well as planning, development and implementation of strategies to optimize the company's tax position;
- Participate in the quarterly tax accounting process;
- Advice on corporate income tax, transfer pricing, trade tax (VAT), wage tax, withholding taxes and other taxes;
- Support to review group structure and investments in light of changing tax legislations (e.g. BEPS).
- Support to define and decide on Inalfa’s global tax strategy/ tax policy together with the Sr Director Global tax to meet the corporate strategic plans, considering regional differences.
- Support to execute, structure and lead specific tax related projects
- Support the for business, functions and providing insights and analysis for tax related risks and opportunities;
- Support to ensure the design, integration and maintaining of an effective and efficient inter-company pricing and inter-company financing structure, in compliance with the applicable tax laws and regulations to ensure an efficient cash repatriation
- Pre decide on filing position to be taken;
- Tax compliance processes;
- Design of Tax structures, tax processes;
- Usage of tax-facilities
- 5+ experience in international tax area preferably within a “big four” environment or a similar corporate environment.
- Academic Tax Law degree and post-academic tax law courses;
- Keen interest in developing and maintaining tax technical knowledge;
- Good understanding of international business practices (preferably in automotive industry, Chinese and Asian business ethics and way of working situation).
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses;
- Takes an independent responsibility and decision making on a day to day basis with a high degree of personal accountability and in alignment with Headquarter strategies;
- Demonstrates keen sense of priorities, inspire others with forward looking orientation;
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations as well as connecting people;
- Able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines;
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- A persuasive and consultative management style, is characterized by strong, centralized control that defends the tax consequences, nevertheless has the ability to reflect the opinions and input of multiple (no tax) stakeholders.
- Ability to match/bridge the high level of tax-content knowledge with developments within the business rational.
