Are you the hands-on coordinator who ensures that materials are delivered at the right time and in the right place? Then this role might be for you!FunctieAs a Project Work Preparator, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate availability of materials required for the production of complex, custom-built yacht components such as hatches, doors, cranes, platforms, gangways, and boarding ladders. You will act as the key point of contact for material coordination, managing internal and external communication, technical documentation, and progress tracking across multiple departments and suppliers.Your role will involve:
  • Report monthly on progress, cost status, forecasts, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Take an active role in reviewing 2D and 3D engineering packages.
  • Manage the purchasing of materials and register them in the ERP system (Trimergo).
  • Monitor material availability and ensure feasibility according to project timelines.
  • Request materials from the warehouse in a timely manner based on project needs.
  • Provide complete information packages for different disciplines in the construction process.
  • Align accurate material forecasts with the Project Manager.
  • Check and verify completeness of bills of materials (BOM).
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain communication with suppliers.
Voorwaarden
  • A motivated, hands-on professional with strong coordination and communication skills.
  • MBO+/Bachelor-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a project-driven production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience with ERP systems (experience with Trimergo is a plus).
  • Very good command of English and Dutch
