Over de functieYou primarily collect commercial waste, old paper, and cardboard from customers such as supermarkets, offices, bakeries, and campsites. The routes vary daily but always remain within your region. Together with your colleague, you ensure that the waste is collected efficiently and responsibly and recycled properly. You regularly interact with customers and enjoy chatting with them. Thanks to your good knowledge of the routes, you know exactly where the containers are located. Although you work independently, you are always together with your colleague on the truck.What does your workday look like?
  • Start your day with a cup of coffee and discuss the route with your colleague and the planner
  • Quickly inspect the truck and depart for the first stop
  • Empty the waste containers into the compactor truck during the route
  • Alternate driving and loading duties with your colleague
  • Deliver the waste to a depot or processing facility at scheduled times
  • Check at the end of your route if your colleagues need any assistance
  • Return to the depot in Amsterdam and finish your workday
You usually start between 6:30 and 7:00 AM and, depending on the route, return between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. You work Monday through Friday, so you can enjoy your weekends off.Wat bieden we jou
  • Gross hourly wage between €17.30 and €19.46 according to scale D of the Collective Labor Agreement for Professional Goods Transport
  • Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment based on good performance

Functie-eisen
  • You are a reliable and team-oriented driver with a positive attitude
  • You hold a valid Category C driving license, including Code 95 and a valid tachograph card
  • You are available to work 32 to 40 hours per week
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and think proactively to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
  • You live within 30 km of Amsterdam, or in the Utrecht, Hoofddorp, Haarlem, Zaandam, Purmerend, or Almere region
