You'll work alongside experienced professionals and build a strong foundation in financial markets from day one.If you're eager to learn and grow in a dynamic setting, we want to hear from you.BeschrijvingResponsibilities: Junior Treasury DealerYou will join a small trading team within the European HQ of a leading international bank, which means that there is a variety of tasks and a lot of responsibilities. Within this position, you will learn to be responsible for the transaction of money markets activity. Other tasks you will learn to handle include:
  • Run books in accordance with internal policy and procedures;
  • Manage cash and collateral positions of the bank in line with authorized strategy;
  • Execute money market transactions in secured and unsecured markets such as CD issuance in line with authorized strategy;
  • Respond promptly to deal orders from the parent bank, mainly repo funding orders;
  • Communicate regularly with the parent bank for information sharing;
  • Conduct repo margin call negotiations with counter parties and relevant administration;
  • Liaise closely with the relevant divisions including the operations and risk management teams;
  • Prepare the presentation materials for relevant meetings (Treasury Div. meeting, committee and other meetings);
  • Propose the macroeconomic view and positions strategy at Treasury Div. meetings;
  • Support General Manager's daily work including administrative duties;
  • Deputize for other dealers in his/her absence;
  • And such other duties as the management may from time-to-time reasonably require.
RequirementsRequirements: Junior Treasury DealerWe are looking someone with the following experience:
  • At least a Bachelor or Master in finance or economics;
  • Some experience in finance (can also include internships during Bachelor's or Master's studies)
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral (Dutch is a big plus);
  • Adept with working in multi-national teams;
  • Analytical, strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
SalarisThe OfferSalary range depends on your background and experience but will be within the range of 3500 and 4000 based on 38 hours, excluding holiday pay and a 13th month.How we'll proceed.
