Within this advisory group, you will be working together with a diverse group of geotechnical and geological engineers in an international environment. As a passionate consultant, you will join a team of engineers based in Amersfoort or Nijmegen who provide advice in the fields of maritime structures, hydraulic engineering, diverse infrastructure, airports, tunnels, dikes, land reclamations, and buildings in the Netherlands and globally.What you bringAs a geotechnical earthquake consultant, you should meet the following criteria:
- MSc or PhD in Geo-Engineering (Geological or Geotechnical Engineering) with graduation project (e.g., thesis) and/or courses specialized in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering or Engineering Seismology
- Medior > 5- and senior > 12 years of experience
- Good numerical skills (e.g., Plaxis) and affinity with digital developments (e.g., scripting, automation)
- Able to manage and collaborate with diverse colleagues. In addition, you should be cooperative, commercial, and able to quickly make contacts
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills (Dutch is a preference, but not a must)
- A flexible attitude and willing to travel when required
