As a tender specialist, you're the expert in analyzing customer transport situations, translating every tender proposal into a "winning offer."You get it doneIn the role of tender specialist, you play a proactive role within our Dutch sales department, where you experience the best of both worlds. Translating data into a winning business case: you're on it.How you do this? Every new tender request for road transport is assigned to a tender specialist based on experience, complexity, and availability. You start by analyzing and summarizing the customer's requirements concisely. You align your plan of action with the business development manager and collaborate with the relevant local planning teams in the Netherlands for this specific tender. You act as the link between sales and the local planning teams, taking responsibility for timeline management. Naturally, you're the one who manages and incorporates customer feedback. You achieve this by:
- analyzing transport data from potential clients to identify the optimal transport solution;
- defining and measuring KPIs to achieve business objectives, providing requested and unsolicited advice to our management team based on this;
- collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners to obtain rates. Calculating operational costs for the proposed solutions so that you can present a competitive offer to your customer;
- continuously developing and maintaining processes, methods, and calculation models.
- a completed bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics or business management;
- strong analytical skills; you always think two steps ahead and can quickly establish connections;
- proficiency in both Dutch and English;
- excel holds few secrets for you; you're also capable of quickly adapting to new systems.
