We are looking for a proactive, well organized HR Specialist with strong communication skills to join our international HR team at our European Headquarters in Amersfoort (NL). In this critical role you will support the daily HR operations for a portfolio of European countries which requires a wide experience with administrative tasks, that you can easily switch between. It is important that you can set priorities, work accurately, and have a trained eye for detail. You are passionate, self-reliant have a natural curiosity towards HR and a flexible and service-focused attitude. In addition, you can adapt to frequent changes due to the continuous growth of our company and you can remain fully functional by adapting to changing circumstances, procedures, and people.Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Personnel Operations Specialist.Key Responsibilities
- Perform effective administration of team member employment documentation
- Prepare and send employment contracts and correspondence
- Maintain personnel database (SAP), systems and personnel files
- Provide input data for monthly payroll and administration of employee benefits
- Perform various administrative duties with respect to (social) insurances, health & safety within legislative requirements for a portfolio of European countries.
- Timely response to any incoming requests of (future) team members to create a positive employee experience
- Suggest and/or implement improvements of personnel administration procedures and work processes
- Update checklists, templates and manuals accordingly
- Participate in team projects and ad-hoc requests
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as Payroll, Recruitment and Personnel Relations Managers
- Post-secondary professional education (MBO4/ HBO), preferably in HR
- At least 4 years of work experience in similar administrative position
- Experience with and knowledge of an HRIS, preferably SAP, is a plus
- Computer literate and excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of another European language is an advantage
- Experience in an international environment is preferred
- You live within the Utrecht region
