Do you want to help shape the future of dairy farming by making maintenance smarter, more predictive, and more efficient? Then this role within the Technical Service Support Milking team is made for you!What will you do?As a Maintenance Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role in transforming maintenance strategies for our milking systems through data. You will:
  • Analyze failure patterns, performance metrics, and maintenance records to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative, data-backed maintenance strategies that enhance machine reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Translate insights into practical solutions by working closely with engineering, service, and our support channels worldwide.
  • Monitor the impact of implemented strategies and continuously refine them based on feedback and performance data.
You will collaborate with:
  • Internal teams: R&D, Service, Product Management, and Data Analytics.
  • External stakeholders: Lely regional offices (Clusters) and Lely Centers worldwide.
Together, you’ll ensure our systems are not only more reliable but also easier and more efficient to maintain.Functie-eisen
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You are analytically strong and an eminent process thinker, able to break down complex problems and design effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a technical or maintenance-related context.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to translate insights into real-world improvements and implement them effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Strong command of the English language (spoken, read, written)
  • Affinity with the agricultural sector and technology is a plus.
