If yes, this apprentice internship could be interesting for you!Background informationThe sector Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) is an industry-leading organization, responsible for ensuring material availability to ASML's factories and customers in an efficient and cost-effective way. Because 80% of all components in an ASML machine come from externally sourced specialist manufacturers, our SS&P activities are critical to ASML’s operations and strategic success.The Chief-of-Staff team in SS&P is a compact team supporting the management of SS&P and their teams. The objective is to ensure the strategic objectives of ASML and SS&P are being achieved. For that matter, the Chief-of-Staff team directly supports senior management, but also supports the Supplier Account Teams (SATs) and Group Supplier Managers (GSMs) on a project basis when strategically relevant. SATs and GSMs have day-to-day responsibility for managing suppliers and are the ultimate interface of ASML to suppliers.Your assignmentThe Chief-of-Staff team is supporting Supplier Account Teams and Group Supplier Managers to set up and execute negotiation events with suppliers. The internship assignment is to support the setup, preparation, and execution of negotiation events. As an intern you will have the following responsibilities and tasks:Support the preparation process, including price reviews, benchmarking, determining the negotiation strategy;Prepare and be part of negotiation trainings;Arrange logistics, including location, materials, and presentation for the negotiation events;Support the teams that are performing the negotiations during the event;Track the results of negotiations and consolidate outcomes in a report;Create presentation materials to be shared with suppliers and with stakeholders in ASML;Consolidate results into updated price lists to be used by ASML’s SS&P organization when purchasing.You will be supervised and coached by one Chief-of-Staff senior specialist and by one Account Lead.Your profileTo be a perfect match with this internship, you:Are a bachelor or master student in a field of study related to Business Administration, Management or comparable;Have an affinity with Finance;Have a good self-discipline and collaboration skills;Have excellent communication- and advisory skillsAre pro-active and culturally sensitive;Are fluent in English;Have extensive Microsoft Office proficiency.This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship for 4-5 days per week (minimal 4 days on-site) with a duration of minimum 4 months.
