We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Team Assistant to join our growing international team.In this role, you will be a key player in our business and work directly with our Operations Team to provide support with the efficient, accurate and meaningful execution of the day-to-day responsibilities. The focus will be on supporting the ENR and Infrastructure teams’ with opportunity management, presentations and the D365 financial system tracking utilization and revenue.Our team is dynamic, innovative, and client-focused, supported by an inclusive and fun company culture. As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.This position is for 32-40 hours per week and based in Turner & Townsend’s Amsterdam office and hybrid.Key responsibilities:
  • Support the ENR (Energy & Natural Resources) and Infrastructure teams with requests for opportunity management, financial support and creating and collating presentations, etc.;
  • Experience with financial systems (Microsoft D365 system preferred);
  • Arrange meetings, book conference rooms, refreshments etc. and liaise with other attendees, both internal and external
  • Support marketing and office support with event and meeting management
  • Make arrangements for large external and internal meetings
  • Director diary management
  • Support travel booking queries
  • Enter, maintain and update client details and relevant information on company databases at request of Cost Centre Leader
  • Deal with basic client queries and general administration
  • Deal with cost centre finance invoicing, purchase ledger etc. as directed by Cost Centre Leader
  • Assist wider office administration team, including support to bids, as and when required
  • Provide reception cover as directed by the Cost Centre Lead
  • Provide company system support and local IT support at request of Cost Centre Lead
  • Operational/ office management support and absence cover (ad hoc).
QualificationsOur ideal candidate is discrete, trustworthy and personable. We are looking for someone to represent Turner & Townsend professionally at all times. Someone who is self-motivated, proactive, highly organised and able to work autonomously. Furthermore, this role requires:
  • At least two (5) years’ experience, ideally within an international environment;
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills in Dutch and English.
  • MBO4 or HBO education in a relevant secretarial or administrative field;
  • Detail-orientated, highly organised with a flexible and solution-oriented attitude;
  • Experience and comfort working with D365 or other finance administration systems;
  • Technically-savvy with the ability to learn systems quickly;
  • Culturally-sensitive, and able to deal with global stakeholders;
  • General administration experience
  • Customer service/client facing skills
  • Strong aptitude for Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
