With Lonza's ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Preventive Maintenance Engineer to take our maintenance operations to the next level.Preventive Maintenance Planning & Execution
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all critical equipment and utilities, including HVAC systems, water treatment plants, and production equipment.
  • Ensure the timely execution of maintenance activities in compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Identify and implement standard methodologies to optimize maintenance intervals and minimize downtime.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, validation records, and calibration logs.
  • Support audits by regulatory bodies, ensuring that all equipment maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Reliability
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements in equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and mitigate potential equipment-related risks.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or tools to improve maintenance efficiency.
Team Leadership & Training
  • Supervise and mentor (Junior) Preventive Maintenance Engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct training sessions on preventive maintenance procedures and equipment operation.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Inventory & Resource Management
  • Coordinate spare parts inventory, ensuring the availability of critical components while minimizing excess stock.
  • Work with procurement teams to source and evaluate equipment and maintenance services.
