We’re supporting a leading petrochemical company based in Botlek as they look for an experienced Senior QA Manager to join on a freelance basis. With a new CEO and a shift in direction, they’re ready to rebuild and strengthen their Quality Management System, and they’re looking for someone with the confidence and technical knowledge to lead that process. The site is Seveso-classified, with upcoming ISO 13485 audit requirements. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a business that welcomes fresh ideas and practical solutions.The Senior QA Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading preparations for the upcoming ISO 13485 audit in August
- Revamping the existing QMS and building a fit-for-purpose system for a high-risk manufacturing site
- Working closely with site and leadership teams to embed quality standards across operations
- Maintaining existing certifications and supporting ongoing compliance efforts
- Identifying and implementing quality improvements and practical process enhancements
- Acting as a key point of contact for audits, inspections, and internal teams
- 5+ years of experience in quality roles within Seveso/BRZO or similarly high-risk manufacturing environments
- Strong experience building and implementing QMS frameworks from scratch
- Solid knowledge of ISO standards – particularly ISO 9001, and ideally ISO 13485
- Fluency in Dutch and willingness to work on-site 4+ days per week
- A proactive, independent working style with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ideally experience in Regulatory Affairs, though this is not essential
