- Accurately plan, prepare, and carry out enzyme biochemistry experiments in an independent fashion, involving for example enzyme activity assays using spectrophotometric methods and enzyme incubations in relevant food matrices.
- Execute developed automation workflows using liquid and solid handling robots in an independent fashion.
- Plan and conduct experiments based on technical hypotheses, analyze the collected data, and discuss with scientists and fellow lab technicians.
- Enhance laboratory efficiency by automating workflows.
- Present findings, draw conclusions, and recommend subsequent actions.
- BSc or equivalent experience in (applied) Biochemistry, Biotechnology and/or Food Technology.
- Experience with enzymes and affinity with down-scaled food applications.
- Experience with automated workflows such as liquid handlers is a pro, a drive to quickly learn execution of lab automated workflows is a requirement.
