Join our Maintenance team at Air Products and help us achieve our mission of being the safest company in the Oil and Gas industry.👷‍♂️ Your roleAs an E&I Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our operations. You’ll be responsible for:Planning & Execution: Organize and carry out preventive, corrective, and project-based maintenance from start to finish.Scoping & Reporting: Investigate and define maintenance needs and document findings clearly.Complex Maintenance: Tackle critical and technically demanding tasks with precision.Safety & Permits: Apply for work permits and conduct task-specific risk analyses.Shutdown Support: Contribute to shutdown planning and execution.Contractor Coordination: Select and manage E&I contractors.Data & Inventory Management: Maintain technical data, link specifications, and monitor stock levels.Team Supervision: Guide and support technicians at levels 3, 4, and 5.Project Oversight: Manage contractors during shutdowns and small-scale projects.Safety Compliance: Ensure E&I-specific safety systems are in place and up to date.Note: Some tasks may require working at heights or in hard-to-reach areas.🎯 What you will bringTechnical Expertise: Strong specialization in electrical (75% focus on this) and instrumentation maintenance.Education: MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in a relevant technical field.Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role.Language Skills: Dutch fluency is preferred, but not required.Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with EHS procedures (e.g. suffocation, acid, hydrogen gases) is a plus.📌 Additional RequirementsWillingness to work occasional overtime.Available for breakdown service once every 6–7 weeks.Open to occasional travel to other Air Products sites across Europe.Willing to follow internal and external training (e.g. electrical switching authority, VCA full, NEN3140, flange fitting).🌱 What we offerAt Air Products, we’re committed to supporting your growth—professionally and personally.
