
Lead Group App Strategy & Growth

- Define and continuously evolve the group app strategy within an omnichannel environment, balancing long-term vision with short-term commercial goals.
- Build operational blueprints for key use cases such as campaigns, push journey orchestration, landing experiences, onboarding, and app exclusives.
- Position the app as a key omnichannel enabler, improving the in-store experience through features like digital receipts, loyalty card and product scanning - while exploring future opportunities such as real-time store mode, personalized promotions, and mobile self-checkout to create seamless transitions between digital and physical touchpoints.
- Act as the central owner of cross-market app planning, ensuring alignment between HQ and countries.
- Actively drive the app's contribution to digital sales, aiming for a significant share of total online revenue via app.
- Partner with Digital Sales, CRM, Marketing and Trade teams to embed the app into campaign mechanics and commercial steering.
- Propose and help implement sales-driving features and activation plans (e.g., time-limited deals, app-only bundles, gamified rewards, coupons/vouchers).
- Work closely with the Customer Loyalty team to align on shared use cases (rewards, missions, personalization).
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Tech teams to feed the roadmap with customer- and business-driven priorities - without relying solely on tech to deliver app impact.
- Work hand-in-hand with country teams, leveraging their market knowledge, testing power, and ideas to co-create and scale what works.
- Align with CX/UX to drive consistent and conversion-optimized journeys across digital and in-store.
- Translate customer data, feedback, and behavioral signals into actionable strategies and feature suggestions.
- Own or co-own the App Store Optimization (ASO) approach across countries, working with Marketing and external partners to improve visibility, conversion, and ratings.
- Track and analyze KPIs such as downloads, active usage, retention, app sales share, and feature adoption.
- 5-8 years experience in mobile product, growth, digital strategy, or CRM - ideally in retail or consumer-facing industries.
- Proven track record in driving app growth and engagement - from feature definition to rollout and iteration.
- Strong operational ownership mindset - you drive outcomes even without a dedicated team.
- Comfortable navigating between strategic planning and hands-on execution across departments and countries.
- Collaborative, open mindset and experience working in matrix structures with central and local stakeholders.
- Data-savvy with an eye for identifying patterns, friction points, and sales opportunities.
- Experience with ASO, mobile campaign logic, and user journey design is a strong plus.
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead alignment across HQ and markets.
