“Empower data consumers with insightful and trustworthy data on demand” is the north star in our road towards a digitalized Finance & Risk organization. Important milestone on this roadmap is to deliver the Data Marketplace in which data consumers can select certified data products on their fingertips by facilitating data self-service and assurance. As a Data Governance Expert you are the mastermind behind designing this and the linking pin between business (data) users, report developers, data engineers, architects, Product Owners, the data management teams and management.What you are going to doThe main responsibility of the Data Governance Expert is to navigate our Finance & Risk regulatory landscape (IFRS 9 & 17, S-II, CSRD, SFRD, EUT) while implementing automated governance controls and identify fit-for-purpose data products to publish in the Market Place. Key focus is to increase the maturity level of Data Governance of this important data domain and enable data owners/ stewards to be in control of their data, manage it effectively and increase trust.Specific responsibilities include:
  • Promote Data Literacy - Provide training and support for Data Owner & Stewardship Community
  • Data Lineage - Establish & maintain Data Lineage across the Finance & Risk value chains
  • Improve Data Governance processes and ensure they are well followed within the Finance & Risk teams
  • Design and develop the operating model of our metadata platform (Collibra)
  • Technical oversight of new Collibra configurations, integrations and workflow development

Who you areEntrepreneurial and creative tech/ data savvy, with getting things done mentality. Higher education degree required, preferable Finance or (Business) Information management with a relation to Data & AI.
  • 5+ years experience of which 3 years in Data Management and Governance
  • Experience in creating and maintaining the horizontal data lineage - end to end data traceability
  • Experience with data integration projects, including reference data and data quality frameworks
  • Strong Collibra knowledge that can be proven by relevant certifications, e.g. Solution Architect or Ranger
