You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the Life In Heerlen we have a position related to cost control and financial planning & analysis on Transportation (Freight & Duty) costs, covering the Western Europe and Middle East & Africa (EMEA) regions, and growing our responsibilities towards a worldwide scope. In this role you will be part of the Global CoE Order to Delivery team, a team of finance professionals working in multiple financial areas around Inventory & Inventory driven costs – Transportation costs being one of them.For this position you are required to travel to the office two to three days per week. Should live within Limburg area.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Actively participating in the financial closing, planning, and preparing forecasts on Freight & Duty costs
  • Preparing financial analyses for Finance & Transportation management and reporting results in a comprehensive way with variable drivers
  • Maintaining and building reporting, accounting and control structures, planning models and database structures supporting freight & duty cost flows
  • Partnering with management in making decisions through complex data analysis
  • Partnering with business teams to drive operating performance in Transport area
  • Participating in projects around financial optimization and financial process setup and improvements
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Relevant bachelor or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • Minimum of 8+ years of professional finance experience, preferably in an international environment and comfortable with working in cross-functional, remote teams
  • Willing to take a hands-on approach with high learning agility
  • Able to handle complex structures and high amounts of data, with commitment to accuracy
  • Fully proficient in Excel, able to restructure financial driver calculation models
  • Experience in SAP and PowerBI
