This role requires networking with other local and regional HR departments and involvement in HR functional activities both locally and regionally.Job Summary:As a HR Specialist, you will provide administrative and organisational support to our Specialty EyeCare site Procornea, based in Eerbeek, Netherlands. This role works closely with the shared service team across EMEA.Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Director, HR Manager, HR Business Partners, HR Business Advisors and Data Specialists.
- Provide first point of contact support for designated areas of the business.
- General administrative duties, including but not limited to filing, general correspondence,
- booking meeting rooms, raising purchase orders.
- Assist in maintaining computerised HR records for employees and potential employees.
- Completing tasks such as referencing, right to work checks and headcount / absence reports.
- Provide administrative support to recruitment and selection processes including communication with candidates, organisation of selection tests or interviews and organisation of assessment documentation.
- Competencies include problem solving, planning and organisation, continuous improvement, teamwork, communication and commercial / business acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent organisational skills.
- Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively either alone or as part of a team.
- Professional and confidential approach to dealing with sensitive business / personnel issues
- Proven administrative skills in a similar fast-moving environment.
- Experience in Dutch labor laws would be desirable.
- Keen interest in developing a career within HR but no prior experience required.
- Good standard of English and Dutch in verbal and written
