We work with clients to deliver certainty and maximize their return on investment, delivering effective program management, project and cost management and project controls services.Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to work on a large, complex, Data Center project in the vicinity of Groningen.This role will require a daily, on-site presence in Groningen.In this role you will:
  • Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
  • Ensure that quality, safety, health and environment issues are identified and addressed
  • Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
  • Advise upon the procurement of resources and manage the change control process
  • Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team and coordinate with the client and other consultants
  • Monitor and advise upon project finances and manage the flow of project information
  • Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
  • Manage and coordinate the MEP design, installation and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical project management, with a focus on Data Center construction or similar large-scale critical infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning for mission-critical environments, including power distribution, backup power systems (UPS, generators), switchgear, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of overcoming challenges on complex projects.
  • Ability to travel to the project site as required.
