Learn more atYour ResponsibilitiesAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Executive, based in Amsterdam to target CE Europe through providing a professional service to the full range of clients, identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of the grains, oilseeds and hedging market in Europe and client requirements to effectively sell the products and services.The main duties of this role will include:
  • Track record of selling to CE European clients, fluency in one or more regional languages
  • Experience in Grains-Oilseeds trading and hedging, strong knowledge of the market ecosystem
  • Commercially driven, autonomous, established relations in the market for new prospects for ADM IS
  • Drive new relationships in the Corporate Sector
  • Develop and enhance existing lines of business, to include but not limited to the Retail Broker, grains, oilseeds and hedging markets
  • Achieve strong sales growth across all products. Working to targets.
  • Consistently seek out new sources for opportunities via multiple channels internal and external e.g. Self-generated, client referrals, subsidiaries or internally.
  • Direct engagement with existing and prospective clients
  • Help drive the growth of our grains and oilseed footprint, with both our existing and new client relationships
  • Day-to-day management of the grains execution venues
  • Work alongside the Head of Grains & Oilseeds strategising on revenue growth areas. Optimize liquidity pools in order to maximize client and LP experience
  • Compile and distribute liquidity reports from the grains platforms to LPs and clients on their monthly/quarterly performance.
  • Undertake tasks, with the overall purpose of ensuring that clients are provided with high quality service.
  • Work closely with Compliance and Risk departments to ensure best business practices, margin tolerances and regulations are met as required
  • Assist in the preparation for, “tom/next” position roles and/or executes “tom/next” position roles.
  • To be a point of contact and support between the Grains & Oilseeds department, internal desks and other ADMIS Global teams in different offices.
  • Full co-operation with other ADM entities globally and work to the ADM way
  • A high-level functional understanding of all relevant internal systems
  • Contributions to ad hoc projects.
Your ProfileThe successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Microsoft Office - Intermediate level
  • Registered with the local Regulatory Controlled Function
  • Holds Regulatory Futures & Options Representative status (or equivalent)
  • Sales experience with customer focused approach
  • At least 5 years' experience in roles within a financial services environment
