
Junior Purchase Manager Italy

- You will be responsible for selecting suppliers, conducting negotiations, and defining the purchasing strategy with a focus on Italy.
- You will maintain contact with existing suppliers and actively work on expanding your network by establishing relationships with new suppliers.
- You will manage the entire negotiation process and maintain active communication with both existing and new suppliers in Italy.
- You will communicate daily via phone and digital meetings and travel regularly to Italy to strengthen supplier relationships.
- You will apply your knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics processes, with specific attention to our Italian warehouse.

- Have a completed commercial education at a minimum of bachelor's level (HBO or equivalent).
- Have 1-5 years of proven experience as a buyer (preferably in the food sector), ideally with a focus on the Italian market.
- Have excellent command of both Italian and English; Dutch is a plus, and knowledge of an additional language is a bonus.
- Possess knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics processes, specifically related to the Italian warehouse.
- Are strong with numbers and proficient in Excel.
- Ideally have international experience (for example through studying or interning abroad).
- Are willing to travel regularly to Italy to visit suppliers and strengthen relationships.
- A good salary in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus and a performance dependent bonus.
