As a Financial Controller at Payter, you will play a key role in the finance team. You will support both the CFO and your fellow Financial Controller in taking the finance department to the next level. Your work is essential for keeping our financial administration reliable and for improving how we manage financial information.In this role, you will:Handle general accounting tasks, such as preparing, maintaining, and reconciling ledger accounts and financial reports, including balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and investment schedules.Make sure that accounting transactions are correctly recorded and that all financial data is complete, accurate, and follows accounting standards.Support our budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to analyze results and understand deviations from the plan.Prepare statutory reports and financial statements for internal and external use.Contribute to finance-related projects and help document and improve procedures.You will work on both day-to-day operations and strategic improvements. You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field. With 4–6 years of relevant work experience, you’re ready to take the next step. You’re analytical, accurate, and enjoy solving problems. In addition:You are experienced in Excel and familiar with ERP systems like SAP, AFAS, or Oracle. Experience with Odoo is a plus.You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.You can work independently and collaborate well with different teams.Experience with financial consolidation and reporting is a strong plus.
