  • Develop hydraulic systems from concept to detailed design
  • Define technical specifications and interface requirements (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
  • Perform calculations involving fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and kinematics
  • Select key system components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, filters, accumulators, sensors)
  • Prepare documentation: schematics, test protocols (FAT/HAT/SAT), manuals, FMECA reports
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, suppliers, and clients
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning
Voorwaarden
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • 10+ years of experience designing hydraulic systems, ideally in maritime or motion & control industries
  • Skilled in schematic design, system modeling, and component selection
  • Proficient in design tools, calculation software, and PDM/ERP systems
  • Structured, analytical, and communicative (Dutch and English)
