- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the EO and GI markets in The Netherlands for both in the civilian and defence sectors, by means of dedicated analysis and participation in expert forums and working groups on the subjects;
- Support the identification and development of new GIS business in compliance with company strategies and in direct coordination with the GIS Line of Business of Telespazio Group;
- Develop and maintain business relationships with private and public Prospects and Customers and potential industrial partners;
- Coordinate the preparation of Telespazio Belgium proposals, with specific responsibility for the elaboration of financial and commercial offers and contractual analysis;
- Exercise commercial communication through presentations, demonstrations and participation in events, as needed to develop new business opportunities;
- Support and coordinate with the Chief Commercial Officer Benelux for problem-solving, resourcing and budget elaboration and revision activities;
- Work in very close relationships and coordinate business development activities with his peer in charge of the Belgian and Luxemburgish areas;
- Elaborate and own strategic planning and budget plans and regular revision of activities
- Degree in Engineering, ICT or Scientific disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Geo-information & Earth Observation market;
- Geo-information & Earth Observation Market knowledge (existing players, procurement procedures of key customers, technologies, market trends etc.)
- Previous experience in identifying, planning, closing, maintaining business opportunities and providing strategic and commercial knowledge and/or support to the company
- Knowledge of the Benelux market, with a focus on The Netherlands ecosystem, is a key asset;
- Experience in negotiation, tendering or bid management,
- Strategic vision and objective-driven;
- “Think out of the box” mindset;
- Good sense of assertiveness and persuasion is a must;
- Ability to work independently while having a strong team spirit mindset
- Excellent Sales and communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to cope with stress and to prioritize tasks;
- Experienced in winning bid writer, committed to excellence;
- Ability to work in a multicultural, open-minded environment.
- Frequent business travels & missions.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Dutch; French is an asset
