G2 are currently looking for a Manager of Projects to join our client based in South Holland, Netherlands - Close to the RotterdamThe client is a chemical plant operator, they are a global company with sites throughout Europe, Asia and The Americas. They are looking for a Manager of Projects to join their operational and projects site, supporting both local and international projects.Manager Of Projects - Client Side - South Holland Region - NetherlandsPosition: Manager Of ProjectsStart: September, October, November 2025Salary: €7,000 - €10,000 per month + competitive package (+8% holiday allowance, bonus scheme, holidays, pension scheme, company car)Location: South Holland Region, NetherlandsDay to Day:
  • Management of technical projects, OPEX portfolio, 10-20 projects at any time
  • Coordination between technical engineering, projects and operational site team
  • Resource management for projects, engineering and turnarounds
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Managing the full project lifecycle, planning, cost and risk management
  • You will ensure the preparation of resources loads, risk assessments project implementation, facility maintenance.
Essential skills:
  • 8+ Years of Industrial Experience, ideally working within a process industry sector (chemical, energy, petrochemical)
  • working experience with end client plant operators
  • Ability to manage people
  • Experience planning meetings, scoping, budgeting, preparation and execution
  • Ideally experience with OPEX projects, shutdowns or turnarounds (not essential)
  • A technological background in Petrochemical or Chemical processing is preferred
  • English Speaking is essential, a proficiency in Dutch is essential ( B2 and above )
